Graduations, weddings, dance recitals and what else?! This is such a busy time of year with some very exciting things happening. Whatever is taking your time and energy, I hope it brings joy to your life.
In our Rotary world, there are some things that need our attention.  As this Rotary year comes to an end, please continue to prepare for the new year with Mick McKinley as your District Governor – you can help him by making sure your club officers are up to date, your goals have been entered and you’ve confirmed your club visit with him.

Click here for details about Mick, the 2019-20 theme and his proposed club visit schedule.

I remember a year ago, the work and time that I had already put in to be prepared to lead our District and I know Mick has been doing this as well.
A few reminders:

Please get your registration in for our District Conference in Nebraska City, NE on July 26-27. We have great speakers lined up; interesting, exciting activities and even some time for family fun! I look forward to seeing many of you there.

Our Rotary Night with the Omaha Storm Chasers is scheduled for Thursday, July 18th. This will be a exciting event – bring your family and friends – and watch Mick and I take a turn at throwing out the first pitch!  By the way, this is a fundraiser for the Omaha based organization, Rejuvenating Women, who work with women that have been rescued from human trafficking.

Don’t forget about the opportunity to meet NFL Buffalo Bills player and graduate of Omaha Millard West, Harrison Phillips, during the PLAYMAKERS camp for underserved and underprivileged kids. This will be an inspirational day where we will have the opportunity to make a difference in kids lives and to challenge ourselves in our motto of “Service Above Self”.

Details for all of these events are listed in this newsletter.
