An audit of the books of accounts of the Rotary District Treasurer shall be made each year for the preceding year ending June 30th. This audit shall be made by an outside auditor. The chairperson of the committee, who must be a Past District Governor or the District Treasurer shall serve as the liaison for the District with the outside auditor. The chairperson shall submit the audit report to the District Governor as soon as it is received. Within 30 days of the receipt of the audit report the District Governor shall send a copy of the report along with a copy of the year-end financial statement to each Rotary club president.
