Join in the attempt to have over 1,000 people trained in Citizen CPR on August 12.

This event is open to the public at no cost (although donations are accepted). This event is being sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of District 5650 and the American Red Cross and will be held at the Harper Center at Creighton University.  It only takes one person to be able to save a life – join us in exploring The Power of One.

After this event is over, the training materials will be given from the Rotary Clubs of District 5650 to the American Red Cross to help train an additional 4,000 people over the next 6 months in Citizen CPR at no cost to the participants.

More than 350,000 people suffer from Sudden Cardiac Arrest in the United States.   The national survival rate is only 7-10%.  This is in no small part because on average when the first responders arrive the bystanders are only taking action 30% of the time.  Be a person that can make a difference and join us to learn a lifesaving skill.
