How does a 5'7" 170 pound football player carve a name for himself in football -- he becomes a "Pinball".
Michael Clemons overcame prejudices to have an amazing career as a player and a coach for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.  He will be the keynote speaker for the kick-off event for “The Power of One”, the 2017 Rotary District 5650 Conference on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 6:30 PM at the Omaha Community Playhouse.
It is impossible to overstate just how dynamic, how energizing Michael Clemons is on stage.  Contrasting boundless “pinball”-like energy with moments of quiet dignity, he engages audience members, literally, to deliver an unforgettable, often emotional speech.  An internationally known speaker, he talks with unabashed passion about teamwork, about the potential in each of us to achieve anything we set our minds to, and about putting your heart –fully—into everything you do.

The general public is invited to attend this opening event, which will also include a reception in the Owen Lobby and backstage tours of the Playhouse. The cost is $25 which also includes participation in the Saturday Afternoon of Service, where we hope to have 1000 people trained in Citizen CPR at 2 PM.
