The Naivasha, Kenya Inbound VTT, Rotary District 9212, on Neonatal Mortality Reduction will be arriving April 17 or 18 and will be here until April 25.

Vocational Training Teams (VTT) are one of the programs available using global grants of The Rotary Foundation. The provide an opportunity to share skills and knowledge.

This particular project is a joint global grant between Omaha Morning Rotary Club, Rotary District 5650 and the Rotary Clubs of Naivasha, Nairobi-East, Rotary District 9212. The focus of the project is to reduce infant mortality in Kenya. Through this exchange, doctors hope to gain insight into ways that they can improve their facilities, delivery techniques and infant care. We previously had a team of doctors that traveled to Kenya as the outbound portion of this project.

There will be opportunities to meet and interact with the team. Watch the District website for information and check the calendar for specific events. The contact is Robert Rapp of Omaha Morning - robertrappgbc@yahoo.com or (308) 325-1704.
