NOTE: This ballot ends on 30 June, 11:59 p.m. US/Central. Club Presidents in Rotary District 5650 received a mailing from Rotary International asking for a vote for the member to represent our Zone on the nominating committee for Rotary International President for 2020-21.
All Club Presidents of clubs in our District received a letter with links to 1) review bios of the potential members to represent our zone and 2) to vote for the candidate. The person elected will represent our clubs on the committee to nominate the Rotary International President for the 2020-21 Rotary Year.

Following is the basic text that was sent to the clubs asking for their votes - don't miss this opportunity to directly impact the nomination for the leader of Rotary.
 

Dear Club President (Rotary District 5650 Club President Name),

The RI Bylaws provide that if there are two or more eligible past directors from any zone who have indicated to the general secretary on 15 April that they wish to serve as a member of the Nominating Committee for RI President, the member (and alternate) shall be elected by the clubs in the zone.

As club president (or club secretary if RI did not have a valid email for the club president), you are registered to vote for the Zone 29 Member of the Nominating Committee for RI President.  This ballot ends on 30 June, 11:59 p.m. US/Central.  The vote you cast here should be the result of a vote held at your club's meeting.

Districts in Zone 29 are: 5580, 5610, 5630, 5650, 5670, 5690, 5710, 5950, 5960, 5970, 6000, 6220, 6250, 6270, 6420, 6440, and 6450.

Please note that the number of members in your club, as shown in the most recent membership figures at the Secretariat, determines the weight of your club's vote as follows:

1-37 = 1 vote
38-62 = 2 votes
63-87 = 3 votes
88-112 = 4 votes
113-137 = 5 votes
138-162 = 6 votes
163-187 = 7 votes
188-212 = 8 votes
etc.

This is handled automatically by the voting software.
