This will be my last message to you as District Governor. This past year has been full of new experiences between my club visits, helping celebrate many anniversaries, awarding a lot of Paul Harris Fellows.
I was able to attend special events such as honoring outstanding 8th graders, celebrating students with disabilities and their achievements, giving out scholarships to deserving seniors. I was also able to participate in some of your service projects and so much more.

I want to thank you for the many invitations to events and celebrations that you planned, and I was able to attend.

We have made a difference in the world and in our District by “Being an Inspiration”. Thank you for the hard work and diligence that you have put in this year. As we continue to do great things, don’t forget all that we have accomplished and remember to celebrate along the way.

I hope that many of you will be attending the District Conference in July so that we can celebrate together!

I leave you in the very capable hands of Mick McKinley as your District Governor for 2019-2020. He is a terrific guy and will be a fantastic leader for our District.

Thank you for allowing me to be your District Governor this year – it has been an honor to serve you. I look forward to returning to being a “civilian Rotarian” but will always be available to support you.
