Rotary District 5650 Clubs are active in our communities. For the 2023-24 Rotary Year, there are 22 Projects involving 26 clubs that passed the district committee review and have been sent to Rotary International.
Clubs apply for matching funds from the District making it possible for larger projects. This year the match was 1.25 to 1. So, for clubs that put in $1500, the district will match that with $1875. That is dependent on approval of the project by Rotary International.
The clubs have requested district matching funds totaling $46.500. The communities will receive support for $94,489 in projects from the district, club and other funds.
We have received preliminary approval from Rotary International for our club projects. After July 1 we will get final approval and then The Rotary Foundation will send us the funds.
Thanks!
