Greetings from your Rotary District 5650 Rotary Foundation Grants Team! There is much to do to get ready for the 2025-26 District Grants.

- - Matching Funds for 2025-26 District Grants
- - The match has been set as 1.25 to 1. So for $1 invested by your Club, the District will match with $1,25
- - The basic guidelines as in the past will apply (minimum / maximum amounts, number of clubs for multi-club projects, etc.)
- - Single Club District Grant Projects
- - $1,500 from club for Maximum Match (Clubs can invest more but the max match will be $1,875) to make a project of $3,375
- - $500 - Minimum Amount from Club (matched of $625 to make a $1,125 project)
- - $500 - Minimum Amount from Club (matched of $625 to make a $1,125 project)
- - Multi-Club District Grant Projects
- - $7,500 Maximum Match (Clubs can invest more than $6,000 but the max match will be $7,500)
- - $1,875 - Maximum Match per club is basis (Clubs can invest more but the max match will be $1,875)
- - at least 4 Clubs must participate in order to receive the maximum match
- - if 3 Clubs, the maximum match would be $5,625, 2 Clubs, max would be $3,750
- - No maximum for any club – just a maximum for the project
- - $300 Minimum from any Club

- - Grant Cycle
- - Projects cannot begin - expenses cannot be incurred - until Rotary International Approval
- - May 31 is the deadline for submitting grant projects online using the Grants Module
- - Club Certification must be recorded before access is granted
- - Review the requirements for Certification above
- - Certification is manually entered so you must allow time for information to be downloaded and reviewed and then access set
- - This work is done by the Grants Committee during evening and weekend hours
- - A spreadsheet of Club Certification status will be posted to the District Website
- - May 31 is a Saturday, plan accordingly
- - The District Committee will review and submit the planned projects to Rotary International early- to mid-June
- - Rotary International will review and approve (or deny) the projects NORMALLY early- to mid-July
- - You can begin your project after approval from Rotary International
- - March 31 2025 - deadline for all clubs to be completed, documentation and final report file
- - December 31 2024 - deadline for progress report
- - Certification criteria is the same as last year
- - District 5650 Grant Management Seminar attended by 2 Active Rotary Members from the Club
- - recommend Club Officers, including the Club Treasurer, to ensure good grant management
- - this is an annual requirement; even if you attended last year you need to attend this year

- - 2025-26 goals set in Rotary Club Central (must be set by a 2025-26 Club Officer)
- - Membership Goal
- - Goal for Donations to The Rotary Foundation Annual Fund
- - Giving to Polio Plus Goal
- - Completion of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

- - Signed by 2024-25 President and 2025-26 President
- - In case of repeat president, the District Foundation Team will ask:
- - President sign both spaces for 2024-25 and 2025-26 President
- - another Officer (recommend Treasurer) sign on lower section)

- - NO NEED TO WAIT
- - Complete the Goals and MOU early
- - Members will not have access to enter grant applications until certification is in place
- - Complete what you can early; so as soon as training is done the system will be open to enter your grant
- - ALL CLUBS who are participating in a grant must be certified - even if you are not the lead club in a multi-club project
You must have club leadership / board approval for the grant project - in scope and amount - before submitting.
