Distribution from Conference Book Fair Begins
 

Donations at the District Conference of over $7,000 provided funds to purchase books for the Ukrainian and Afghan children living in our District.
This is a partnership with Lutheran Family Services, Joel Stoltenow, and Linked2Literacy, Kathleen Ousey. The books are now ready to be distributed to the children and families in Lincoln, Omaha, Council Bluffs, Norfolk and Columbus. These areas were selected because LFS has case workers in those communities that will work with the families to get the books distributed. You can see photos from a resent distribution in Lincoln.

Joel and Kat are available to visit your club for a short report or if you need a program, they would also be happy to present for a longer period. Their emails are listed below. Thank you all again for your wonderful donations!

While they are in your community, Joel and Kat would like to visit your club for a short report or if you need a program, they would also be happy to present for a longer period.  They may need volunteer assistance with distribution of books.
