I want to pass along a great opportunity to network with your district 5650 Rotary colleagues.  This event has been dubbed “Buy the Big Wheel” and, though it is sponsored by the 12 Omaha area Rotary Clubs, it is open to everyone in the district.
As you may know, Rotary was founded in 1905 primarily for business networking and networking is still an important aspect of Rotary today. I can say that I have certainly appreciated being able to network with a variety of professionals over the years and have often called on Rotarian friends for assistance in such activities as selling my home, creating a will and other legal documents, and locating people to do a variety of home maintenance tasks.

The event details are on the Spotlight on Clubs Page of the District Website - click here. There will be many exhibitors showcasing products including people from outside the metro Omaha area.

There is still limited room for more exhibitors and the cost for space is $99, a bargain.

For those who are curious, this event has supplanted the old familiar Metro Luncheon that sought to reach out to only the greater Omaha area.  Please talk about this event with your clubs and encourage attendance.  Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served and there is no cost to Rotarians and their guests.

The Rotary Networking Committee chaired by Yolanda Hoffman will be visiting to encourage Exhibitors at $99 and we have limited spots left, and to encourage Rotarians to attend. Hope to see you there!
