Rotarians are people of action who mobilize resources, form partnerships and invest in infrastructure. So many clubs in our District have impacted the world focusing on this theme. I enjoyed sharing a story from my GSE trip to India in 2012.

As an elementary teach, we knew the jingle of March coming in like a lion and out like a lamb. We are turning that on its head this year with our Rotary District Conference at Nebraska Innovation Campus in Lincoln. On March 31, we will open with a social and polio fundraiser, Rotary’s Got Talent! It’s going to be a roarin’ good time. On Saturday, April 1, we will learn from great speakers, share our club achievements, enjoy fellowship with Rotarians across the district, raise funds for our Rotary Foundation and purchase books for Ukrainian and Afghan children in our District. A highlight will be lunch with the first woman in Rotary visiting our District Conference from California. Wow! Don’t miss a moment of this action packed two-days.
District Governor Barbara

P.S. Hurry! Get registered for the conference, The Scarlet, the conference hotel and a special opportunity for Rotarians to attend the Yo Yo Ma concert at the Lied Center for Performing Arts on Thursday night, March 30 at 7:30. You can register for all at the District website. See you there!
