Many of you who have met me know that I am an extreme extrovert. As one, I absorb my energy from my environment and experiences vs generate it from within.

Well, if you think I am a bundle of energy normally, this month I will frankly blow your mind!!! Here is what is feeding me:
  1. Rotary International Convention in Houston. Which in itself is crazy awesome for an extreme extrovert, but also:
    1. I get the honor of participating in the Opening Ceremony parade of flags. If you haven’t been to a Convention this is amazing.
    2. I get the privilege of presenting a breakout session. It is called “Rotary: the Embodiment of Spiraling Up!”
    3. I get to see my DG classmates IN PERSON!!! We missed out on some really cool opportunities due to COVID so this is really a big deal.
    4. I realized when I put my schedule together that I have 6 major parties in 6 days.

  2. It is my final month as your District Governor and there is still so much to do. Emotions are riding high. This has been truly the most important role I have ever held. I have learned so much and I am so proud of our District, our leaders, our clubs, you!

  3. July 7-9 is the District Conference. I am so excited to have y’all (preparing to be in Texas!) in Council Bluffs. I love my hometown and my club. Please consider registering. It is going to be a blast.

Also, check out the teaser videos coming out regularly on the District’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/RotaryDistrict5650). There are already two up.
Thank you for all you do in the name of Rotary. You are truly serving to change lives.

Spiral Up!
