Hello Fellow Rotarians!
We are already through the month of January and, as I’ve said before, time flies. This is a little over half way through our Rotary year. Have you checked on how close you are to the goals you set up last spring? How is your membership looking? Are you on track, personally, with your goal for Foundation Giving?
Don’t worry if you haven’t gotten everything done! We have time to get those goals accomplished.
Our District and Rotary International are always excited to recognize your accomplishments with different awards and acknowledgement. The Rotary Citation is attainable.
To see what you have achieved and what else you can do, go to the Awards / Rotary Citation Page of our website which includes the 2018-19 Rotary Citation Brochure and Achievement Guide (Click here for the Rotary Citation Page). All items must be completed, submitted and processed by Rotary International before June 30. One note - to be sure that The Rotary Foundation donations qualify, you need to allow processing time. Submit them early - do not wait until the end of June.
I am so impressed with the many activities, fundraisers and social events that our clubs are doing throughout the District. Did you know that you can find out about any of these events on our District website? Click here for the Spotlight on Clubs page.
If your club is having an event, let Nicki Klein know and she can get it added to our list of upcoming events and added to the District Calendar. Also, I encourage you to attend events outside your own club – let’s Be the Inspiration to each other but showing committed support!
