One of the best things you can do to bolster the image of Rotary in your community is to celebrate what someone in your community is doing to make things better.
Who in your community would you like to recognize for serving others? Is it an individual? Is it a small group of people? Perhaps there’s an organization that’s done some special things this year.
It’s time to be thinking of the Rotary District Golden Wheel honoree from your community. And, as you do, remember, by shining the light of celebration on a non-Rotarian, a lot of that light bounces back on your club. We’ll be asking you to submit information about your honoree in the near future.
Oh, and while I have your attention, mark your calendar for October 13 and 14 for the District 5650 convention. We’ll be meeting in Omaha this fall and you’ll want to be there.
