Incoming Club Officers - What You Need To Know About Training

Rotary District 5650 and Rotary International want to set you up for success and excellence! As you step into your 2025-26 Leadership Role, there will be opportunities to deepen your knowledge of Rotary and develop skills to help you lead your club or committee and accomplish your goals.
Soon you will receive an email from Rotary International Learning and Development about courses designed specifically for you and your role.
 
That email will provide you with the instructions for setting up an account at Rotary.org/My Rotary (if you have not already done that) and lead you to the courses specific to your leadership role. All new Rotary and Rotaract club presidents, secretaries, and treasurers need to complete the learning plans for their roles in Rotary’s Learning Center to prepare for their term in office.
 
Other incoming officers will also receive emails about the courses available to help them prepare for their roles. These officers are encouraged, but not required, to complete their courses. Club and district officers receiving these emails will be:
Rotary and Rotaract club membership chairs
Rotary and Rotaract club Foundation chairs
Rotary and Rotaract club service project chairs
Rotary and Rotaract club public image chairs
Assistant governors
Rotary District 5650 in-person training sessions have been scheduled for March 1 (for District Positions) and March 22 (for Presidents-elect) at ESU 3, 6949 S 110th Street, La Vista, NE 68128 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Not only will these sessions provide you with valuable information but provide an opportunity to work with others in the District and get to know the team that is there to support you.

As a club president-elect, you are required to complete the Club President Basics and Club President Intermediate learning plans. These two series of courses in the Learning Center will help you be ready for your responsibilities.
