A Public Image Challenge for District 5650

Around the world Rotary is known for encouraging peace, for helping feed the hungry, for mentoring young folks and so much more. So why are we struggling to add to our membership, to be seen as impactful, to be inviting to a younger generation?
It’s because we’re not telling our story, and because we’re not telling it in the right places. Just think of it, Rotary has seven very important causes including promoting peace, fighting disease, clean water and sanitation, saving others and children, supporting education, growing local economies and protecting the environment.
It’s also because we’re not telling the story in the right places and doing it on a consistent basis. If we want to invite the younger generations to join Rotary, we’ve got to be where they’ll see our message. “Where’s that?” you ask. Facebook and Linkedin.
