Making our clubs welcoming to all will continue to be a main focus in 2021 as we move forward with the Rotary District 5650 Inclusivity Imperative.
During October and November, 80 Rotarians representing 19 clubs registered for training from Inclusive Communities in the form of four Zoom workshops. This was provided by a district grant sponsored by Suburban Rotary of Omaha.

Attendance and participation was excellent and this valuable training equipped our action team with the perspective to begin drafting our best practices for sharing the learned wisdom with all clubs in the district. Look for these best practices to be shared with club leadership at President-Elect Training (PETS) on March 20th and then launched throughout District 5650.

We are on the forefront of this important work within Rotary and I believe it's already having an impact on our clubs and membership growth. If there is anything I can do to help your club with membership, please don't hesitate to contact me at (402) 312-6110 or jaredbakewell@gmail.com.
