We are saddened by the news of the passing of Past District 5650 Governor Walt Horner.
Walt was a member of Omaha Suburban Rotary for nearly 40 years and he was there almost every Thursday. He was a Past President, Past District Governor (1999-2000), and loved giving all of us a hard time with his dry sense of humor. We are grateful for the amazing things Walt did as a Rotarian including leading the drive to put a statue in honor of polio eradication at Children's Hospital. Walt was inducted into the Omaha Suburban Rotary Hall of Fame a couple of years ago. |
