I hope this finds all of my Rotary family being safe and staying healthy. This is a challenging time for all of us.
Our clubs are accomplishing so many great projects to serve our communities and fellow members during this COVID-19 outbreak — from helping with blood drives, running errands for those at high risk, helping with technology, donating to the food banks and many other projects.

As many of you know we had at the last moment last month reschedule PETS to a zoom meeting. Thanks to a quick thinking district training team especially Gretchen Bren, we had a very successful 90 minute session with 61 in attendance. I would like to give a special thank you to all that worked so hard planning and executing the meeting. Also I would like to thank all the participants for joining on short notice.

I would like to encourage all the clubs to sign up for a zoom subscription as it will really help keep your club vital and connected. As a single person, zoom on a personal level has allowed me to stay connected with my friends and Rotary. It really helps me not to feel so isolated. Please take advantage of this opportunity especially since our district is covering the cost for a one year subscription.

Looking forward to when we can all be together again.
I would like to announce a great family celebration on Saturday, August 8th “Night at the Ballpark” at Werner Park. One of the tailgating areas outside the ballpark has been reserved for Rotary for no charge so Rotarians can meet there and congregate/socialize before the game if desired. The tickets for the game are only $10.00 and will go on sale soon - watch for the link. This will be a fun event for all of our Rotary family. I chose a weekend night so more of our members and families can attend.

Stay safe and be well.

Warm regards,
Roxy
