Rotary District 5650 nominated individuals for International Level Awards. We are proud that two of our nominees were selected this year for these highly competitive awards. They are Dan Rose, for the Service Above Self Award and Nancy Herdman for the Excellence in Service to Humanity Award.
The Service Above Self award is prestigious award for Rotarians who demonstrate their commitment to helping others by volunteering their time and talents. Dan was nominated by the Wayne Rotary Club. Click here to read the details of Dan's award.
The Rotary Award for Excellence in Service to Humanity recognizes non-Rotarians, including partners and spouses of Rotarians, who have demonstrated exemplary humanitarian service in accord with Rotary’s ideals. Nancy was nominated by Lincoln South Rotary and she is the spouse of John Herdman. Due to a health issue Nancy was unable to attend so the award was accepted by John on her behalf.
