District 5630 and 5650 Rotary Youth Exchange again held a joint orientation for the incoming students at the Nebraska Youth Camp in Kearney August 23-25.
Our district’s three Rotary Youth Exchange students arrived safely – Mateo from Bolivia, Alba from Spain, and Margo from the Ukraine.In total there are nine students from Rotary Youth Exchange in Nebraska schools from Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Spain, Romania, and Ukraine. Both Ukrainian students (Sophiia in Hastings and Margo in Lincoln) were funded by a combination of generous donors and district scholarship funds to make this experience possible for these two deserving students.
Allie Colburn , our outbound student from York arrived safely in Osaka August 26th and was welcomed by her host family and Osaka/Wakayama Rotarians.
