We are wrapping up the first quarter of Mick McKinley’s year as District Governor. We are so fortunate to have his leadership this year!
We are also fortunate enough to have Roxy Orr (Omaha Suburban Rotary) lined up to serve during 2020-2021 and Carol Horner (Council Bluffs Noon Rotary) will serve as our District Governor for 2021-2022.
In keeping up with the succession planning and keeping our Governor String strong, it is time to think about who within your club could be nominated for the position of District Governor.
The nominee needs to be in good standing in your club and the District and needs to have served as club president. This person should also have proven that they have strong leadership skills and are good decision makers. During the year of service, this person will be looked to for leadership, support and motivation from our clubs.
The Nominating committee will be conducting interviews by the end of the year to make this decision and have our District Governor for 2022-2023 appointed.
