We are seeking nominations for our District Governor for the Rotary year 2025-26!!
The pre-qualifications for DG are that you are a current member of the district in good standing, a past club president, and have been in Rotary for 7 years. Applications are to be submitted by the Rotarian's Club. No self-nominations are accepted.
I would encourage every eligible Rotary Club Member to consider this position. It is a four-year commitment but one that is so worth it.
My years as District Governor-nominee (DGN) - learning what this is all about, District Governor-elect (DGE) - preparing, and District Governor (DG) - implementing and leading - gave me such incredible opportunities to connect across the globe. I had an opportunity to see and learn so much about our District and the fabulous Rotarians who do incredible work in our communities and around the world, and to engage with tremendous leaders. It truly has been the greatest honor of my life!
We lead this District as a team, we call it the DG String. You are never alone in the process of moving our District forward. DG Barbara has brought her talents as a self-proclaimed "lover of strategic plans" to bear and we have a solid framework to lead from. Please consider joining the team.

Now, as the Immediate Past District Governor, I have the responsibility of receiving and processing applicants.
Our process is as follows:
- Applications are open until DECEMBER 1, 2022 (application can be found HERE)
- Applications must be submitted by your Club
- Applications will be vetted for eligibility and completeness by the nominating committee
- If there are more than 6 applications, a team of recent PDGs will narrow the applications to 6
- The District Board of Directors serves as the nominating committee and will interview candidates in January 2023
- The selection process for the proposed District Governor Nominee Designate (DGND) will be completed by January 31, 2023
- The DGND selected by the Board will be put to vote by the delegates at the Annual Meeting (Date to be determined)
