Here’s how WE are promoting peace:
- We are fighting disease, giving people clean water, and growing local economies to help build peace.
- We (yes, you and I) have helped train more than 1,600 peace fellows who are working in their governments and international organizations like the United Nations.
- We (yes, you and I) have negotiated ceasefires where there’s been conflict so we could go in and vaccinate children against polio
- Rotary (that’s you and me) has played an integral role as a respected, impartial participant in peace processes and reconstruction of places damaged or destroyed through war.
