Over the last two years some district Rotary Clubs have taken advantage of an opportunity to go through a visioning process to help them think expansively about their future and develop a long range plan.
The district has contracted with a company to train facilitators to lead clubs through the process. We recently renewed our contract with the International Vision Facilitation Council to help train facilitators. The reports from participating clubs (small and large) have been positive and I am encouraging all clubs to consider it.
It will ultimately lead to a working document for clubs that helps them thrive. I strongly recommend the process. The District Leader for visioning is Rob Simmon from the Glenwood Rotary Club. Rob is an exceptional leader and you would benefit from consulting with him about the merits of visioning for your club.
