District 5650 Rotary Youth Exchange is sending one student overseas this year and hosting three students from other countries.
Allie Colburn from York will be going to Wakayama, Japan, the same community as her host sister Rea that her family hosted in York this past year.

Lincoln #14 will be hosting 3 students, Alba from Spain, Mateo from Bolivia, and Margo from Ukraine.
Margo’s situation is unique in that her exchange was part of an organized effort to find spots for Ukrainian students who would not be able to afford their own exchanges. Nebraska districts 5630 and 5650 each committed to sponsoring a student, both of whom are from Cherkasy, Ukraine. We have been raising money from Rotarians to help cover their costs. If any would like to contribute, you can make a tax-deductible donation to the Lincoln Rotary Club 14 Foundation, PO Box 83843, Lincoln NE  68501 with a note for the funds to be directed toward the Ukrainian Rotary Youth Exchange students.

Margo & her parents, who are both in the Ukrainian military, are in the picture featured with this story.
