Early in November, we received an invitation by email to participate in the 2021 Rotary All-Member Survey. The full message and survey link are shown below. The survey is open until December 10.

There is still time to donate to the Tour de Tucson Ride to End Polio riders. Donations are matched 2 to 1 by the Gates Foundation.

 

Is your club ready for the Rotary Invoice due in January 2021? Is your membership information up to date?

 

As reported earlier, there are 27 projects being conducted by our clubs using District Grant funds. The next step is for the clubs to complete and file progress reports by December 31 to provide the District Team with a status of the projects.

We have a small group that is meeting soon to hammer out the schedule for RYLA 2022. In January, students and clubs will have access to the on-line application form.

As we look forward to 2022 with great hopes for a "typical" year again, friends may be looking to engage in organizational events that have been limited by COVID.  Encourage your club members to talk up Rotary. Our reach is local and international.

As many of you know, internationally celebrated humanitarian – Razia Jan – was recently in Omaha to speak at a meeting of our Omaha Suburban Club that was open to Rotarians throughout the District, and to address students at Central High School. She also spent quality time with the Director of the Center for Afghan Studies at the University of Nebraska and staff here in Omaha, where she offered an update on conditions on the ground in Afghanistan as well as suggestions regarding what may be the best pathways going forward regarding the education of Afghan girls.

District 5650 is taking nominations for District Governor for the 2024-2025 Rotary year. Clubs can nominate a member of their club who is in good standing and has served as President of their club.
