Setting Goals

The most successful clubs and districts plan for their future by setting goals not only for the current year, but also for the future.  By setting 3 year goals, we prepare for success by giving us a direction and members a shared purpose.

How?

  • Clubs establish goals by reviewing the 26 goals in Rotary Club Central and decide which ones best fit your club’s needs and goals.
  • There are six top-priority goals that all clubs are particularly effective in strengthening clubs – please include goals in these areas when setting your goals.
  • Enter goals in Club Central through https://my.rotary.org
  • Clubs that set and achieve at least half of the goals will earn the Club Excellence Award (previously the Club Citation)

* Club Goals: If you total all the goals in Club Central for the District, this would be the total.

Setting Other Goals

Using the Rotary Priorities and Action Plan, set additional goals for your club.  Your additional goals are what keeps your club unique!  See Rotary’s 2024-2025 annual goals in our handout.
