During our Virtual District Conference this year we gave Rotarians a chance to show their generosity by donating to The Rotary Foundation. As an incentive we offered matching Paul Harris Recognition points for donations $100 to $1,000.
88 Rotarians from 22 Clubs donated a total of $33,190 to the Rotary Foundation during the District Conference. Many donors achieved or moved closer to their next level of Paul Harris Fellow recognition. Thank you to all our Donors! Through your generosity, you are truly Doing Good in the World.
We also auctioned off a few items during the day. An antique pin and songbook, a special bottle of Jack Daniels, and a gourmet wine dinner for four guests at Casa Bren. Special thanks to Gary and Gretchen Bren who graciously agreed to provide three separate dinners when the auction resulted in a three-way tie of $1,000 for each dinner. Gary and Gretchen are the meaning of Service Above Self!
