Important Information About District Grants

2022-23 District Grant Projects - Completion Deadline is March 31.
2023-24 District Grant Projects - Grant Cycle Is Starting.

2022-23 GRANT PROJECTS
As previously noted, District Grant Projects are to be completed, checks cleared, and final reports filed by March 31.
 
The reports are part of the online process - District Grants Module through the Rotary District 5650 Website. 
Logon to www.rotarydistrict5650.org
Go to the Member Area / Admin Page
Select Grants
Select your Club Grants and open the Project
Go to Individual Project Report tab
 
DO NOT CHANGE the information from your progress report - leave that there - just add information in the Final Report section.
 
As a reminder:
  • The funds must be used for activities only as approved on the grant application
  • The District Matching Funds were deposited to your grant account, your club's share is also to be deposited to that account
  • All payments for the project are to be made from the grant checking account - not any other operating account of the club
  • Funds are only to be paid to the beneficiary to reimburse for specific items (the items outlined in your grant request); they are not to be given to the beneficiary in advance of purchase or for their use "as they wish"
  • Detailed invoices or receipts for all items are required
  • Financial Statements from the time the District Funds were deposit through the final check clearing are to be included
  • Copies of checks as they clear are to be included
  • If there are multiple payees, numerous receipts, include a tracking sheet matching receipts to checks
  • Be sure to review all of the documents for proper management - the Terms and Conditions, Money Management, etc. 
 
2023-24 GRANT PROJECTS

There will not be any changes in the match, deadlines, certification requirements, etc. this year.
 
Grant applications are submitted online and the deadline to submit, along with supporting documents, is May 31. Members who are certified will have access to the District Grants Module on the District Website (www.rotarydistrict5650.org).
