Happy New Year!
It’s hard to believe half our Rotary year is over. The good news is we are over halfway to meeting our 2023-24 goals set in July 2023 for contributions to the Annual Fund and Polio Plus.
So, here’s an update on where we stand.
Annual Fund
Goal Total raised Per Capita Goal Achieved
$179,450 $113,983 $66.04 63.5%
Polio Plus
Goal Total raised Per Capita Goal Achieved
$67,190 $42,790 $24.79 63.7%
Our members have also contributed $3,910 in other contributions and $25,000 to the endowment fund for total contributions raised YTD of $185,684.
Thank you to all who have contributed so far this year, you are making a difference in the world.
Thank to all our clubs who received District grants and for completing your progress interim reports. It’s very important that we are transparent on where we are in completing our grants and good stewards of funds.
We are looking for individuals to fill several important roles on the District Foundation committee. Specifically we are looking for the Annual Giving Chair and the District Stewardship Chair. The annual giving chair works with club foundation chairs to encourage giving to the Annual fund of the Foundation. The Stewardship chair works our clubs to ensure we are up to date on our reporting on global grants. If you have interest in learning more about these positions or serving on any of our Foundation committees, please reach out to me.
If you would like any other information regarding our Foundation, grants, reporting or giving , please let me know. And, remember donations to the annual fund come back to the district after 3 years to fund your district grants, global grants and global scholars.
All the best to you for Happy and prosperous New Year!
Mick McKinley, District Foundation Chair
