December 30, 2019 is the updated deadline for children and grandchildren of Rotarians to be submitted for the April 17-19, 2020 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp.
Applications can follow, the need right now is headcount to determine how many more “at-large” sophomore and junior high school students can be accepted to bring us to the 50-student limit. (Rotarian family receive priority.)
Additionally, Club Commitment forms are needed to determine funding and how much fund-raising will be needed for a successful camp. Fund-raising will be necessary. The sooner we receive these forms the better we can plan. The quicker the funds follow, the less stress put on the committee.
So, before the year-end, we kindly request for your club to please submit:
- Names or #s of children and/or grandchildren of Rotarians that will attend RYLA from your club to Lori Benton, RYLA Chair ryla@rotarydistrict5650.org
- Submit to Lori, your completed Club Commitment form, found here: http://bit.ly/2qeDN8b, and then please,
- Mail the District a check just as soon as you can release the funds to Rotary International District 5650, Inc., Attn: Gary Bren, Treasurer, P.O. Box 711, Boystown, NE 68010.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. All clubs produce events so you know how crazy things can get.
