Rotary Youth Leadership Awards – Powered by Launch Leadership (RYLA) is back!!

 

Applications for the 2026 camp are officially open! This transformational leadership experience brings together outstanding young people from across our region for a weekend of growth, teamwork, and inspiration.

 

RYLA 2026 will be held Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Camp Calvin Crest in Fremont, Nebraska.

 

High school students in grades 9–12 who live in Eastern Nebraska or Southwest Iowa are invited to apply. Whether they’re already emerging leaders or simply curious about developing new skills, RYLA offers an encouraging, hands‑on environment where students discover their strengths, build confidence, and form lasting friendships.

 

Applications are due by August 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Clubs are encouraged to begin sharing the opportunity now so students have plenty of time to apply. RYLA continues to be one of Rotary’s most impactful youth programs—helping young people find their voice, expand their leadership potential, and connect with peers who share their passion for making a difference.

 

If your club sponsors students each year, now is the perfect time to begin outreach. And if you’ve never sponsored a student before, this is a wonderful year to start.  More information, including promotional flyers, can be found on the District website here.
