It’s hard to believe it’s November and we are entering the Holiday season. I have now made it to every Rotary Club in the District and the Rotaract Clubs in Lincoln and Wayne.

2019-20 District 5650 Directors Selected

The Rotary District 5650 Board consists of 13 Members - some based on position, some selected by the District Governor and others elected by the Members of the Clubs.

It's 2020-21 Club Officer Election Time!

2020-21 Club Officer Appointments are due by December 31, 2019. Update all Officer information on the local websites (ClubRunner) and it will "roll up" to Rotary International.

Taking Nominations for Rotary District Governor 2022-23

We are wrapping up the first quarter of Mick McKinley’s year as District Governor. We are so fortunate to have his leadership this year!

Club Profile Program - See Criteria and Standings

The criteria for the 2019-20 Rotary Year has not changed - there are points for attendance at Rotary events, Project Completion, Membership Growth and support of The Rotary Foundation and Polio Plus.

IRS Annual Filing Requirement

All US Rotary Club Officers recently received an email from Rotary International concerning the IRS annual filing requirement. See below for a copy of that mailing along with a link to frequently asked questions.

In May of this year, Hayley Dunlop graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in the Biological Sciences and a minor in Global Health. Having completed an honor's thesis and graduating from ASU with a 4.0 GPA, Hayley is off to another prestigious university, the University of Edinburgh.

District 5650 Continues Support for Polio Eradication

Again in 2019-20, our District 5650 continues its support of Polio Eradication by contributing 20% of available District Designated Funds (DDF) from the Rotary Foundation toward Polio Plus.

Local Communities Benefit from The Rotary Foundation Funds

Funds donated to The Rotary Foundation are used to support the needs of individuals - far away and right here at home!
