I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the Rotarians and guests that attended the Fusion 5650 District Conference! It was inspiring to see all of the passionate Rotarians and guests come together to share ideas and experience to celebrate the Magic of Rotary. The excitement and enthusiasm you shared made the Fusion 5650 Conference an amazing experience for all!

The next session of the Rotary Leadership Institute is scheduled for November 9, but we are in danger of having to cancel. If you are interested in attending, please sign up today. We need to have at least 6 people to hold an RLI Session. So far, we have 5 people for Part 3 and 1 person for Part 2 and 1 for Part 1. We need you to register by November 5th to decide which sessions will be held.
Rotary Clubs are reminded of the IRS' annual filing requirement. Club officers received an email from Rotary International September 12 with additional information (copied in below).
Your time, energy, and a passion to improve your community and world are all you need to get involved with Rotary. Why not take the next step! Become one of Rotary’s people of action and explore the many leadership opportunities we have with Rotary District 5650.
District Grant Project Progress Reports for all 2024-25 District Grant Projects are due by 12-31. The purpose of that report is to check progress, find out if your project is "on track" and discuss any issues you have encountered that may be blocking progress.
From the page header: Rotary members and program participants are improving lives in communities around the world every day through thousands of service projects. Explore the good work that we’re doing locally and globally, and share these projects through social media.
Some exciting changes will make it easier and faster for clubs to connect with the more than 30,000 prospective members each year who indicate their interest at rotary.org/join. Read the letter from Rotary International below:
Rotary International has requested that the Club President and all other Club Officers and Executives for each Rotary Year get established by 12-31. Many clubs start the Nomination and Election Process late in September or early in October.
Also, training for the 2025-26 Club Leadership starts in February/March so it is important to have the positions filled before then.
