WELCOME TO ROTARY DISTRICT 5650

While the power of Rotary is in the local clubs, there is strength in numbers. The Rotary clubs of Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa are members of District 5650, which provides leadership, representation, and direction.

Governor Gretchen's August Message

I'm excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 District 5650 Conference, taking place October 23-24 at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum in Ashland, Nebraska.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our clubs, learn from fellow Rotarians, strengthen friendships, and be inspired by the impact Rotary is making throughout our district. Register early, as conference rates will increase on September 24. I hope you'll make plans to join us!

Fusion 5650: A Destination Event in Our Own Backyard

For some of you, I had you at "District Conference!" You've attended before. You know the inspiration, the ideas, the friendships, and the chance to reconnect with Rotary friends you may only see once or twice a year.

Others may be wondering, "What's different about this one?"

Disaster Relief for Caracas, Venezuela Affected by Earthquakes

Caracas, Venezuela is located within Rotary Zone 25A. Through our current alignment we are aligned them as we are within 25B & Zone 29. A message was sent to Rotary District 5650 Presidents about Rotary's response to the Venezuela Earthquakes.

Ride to End Polio - New Date August 29th

We will be holding a Ride to End Polio on August 29th (changed from original date May 23rd). There will be 10, 25, and 44 mile rides in Omaha with the 10 and 25 mile courses being pretty flat and gentle.
