As we move through the summer and into the fall, it's a good time to focus on membership. Be sure to follow up on people you want to renew, and now is a great time to set your membership growth goals and challenge your members to invite friends and people they feel will make great members.

The outgoing Rotary Youth Exchange students from Nebraska attended their Outbound orientation camp in Tulsa, Oklahoma from June 22-26. All 6 are pictured as well as District YEO Bob Rauner (Lincoln #14) from 5650, Lisa Jorgenson from 5630/Gothenburg, and former 5650 exchange student Zach Manahan (Rotex Japan 2014/2015). 

That circle in the Rotary logo and in the Imagine Rotary theme logo for this year has a deep meaning.

Community demographics are always changing.  New leads popping up on the https://www.rotary.org/en website show two significant trends. 

When COVID first hit, the District established a grant to help offset the costs of using Zoom.   We will be extending that grant through the 2022-2023 Rotary year. 

Rotary and Rotaract clubs and districts are provided with general liability and directors & officers/employment practices liability insurance through the U.S. Rotary Club and District Liability Insurance Program. Emails are sent from Rotary International to Club Officers periodically. We recently received an email detailing important information about our coverage for 2022-23.

Rotary International sent semi-annual invoices to club officers July 20. If not already done, please process and keep your club in good standing. Thank you to the 8 Rotary Clubs in our District that show as paid on the report.

Does your Club have a subscription to ClubRunner for your Club Management? Access to additional aspects of the system do not automatically change when you define your Officers.

As clubs review dues for members, include the Rotary required items plus the Club costs supported with member assessment.
