St. Nicholas Day is December 19 in Ukraine.  In recognition of this holiday, Rotarians in Poland are taking a caravan of 21 minibuses filled with warm clothing, shoes, coats, sleeping bags, blankets, toys and other critical needs for the children in the Ukrainian orphanages. Of course they continue their work to provide medical supplies, generators and other needs as the cold, dark days of winter approach.

 

Support the families, especially the children, by making a contribution for the Rotary District in Poland, so they can continue to purchase the critical needs for the Ukrainians.  Please make your contribution by December 13 (new deadline) to District 5650 - click here.

Did you know that, thanks to a few endowments our district grant committee has been able to increase funds for district and global grants and disaster relief for the past several years? You can designate as little as $1,000 in your will and become a Benefactor of The Rotary Foundation.

The 2023 Rotary International Convention will be in Melbourne May 27-31, 2023. Early Registration Discount of $475 per member is available through December 15, 2022.

The Columbus Noon Rotary Club celebrated 102 Years of Service on November 10, 2022. Their 100-Year Celebration was postponed due to the pandemic. Read more to see the story posted in the Columbus Telegram Newspaper and for photos.

As clubs review dues for members, include the Rotary required items plus the Club costs supported with member assessment.

Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) events are conducted around the world and participants can attend in any location to start, continue or complete the 3-part series.

When COVID first hit, the District established a grant to help offset the costs of using Zoom.   We will be extending that grant through the 2022-2023 Rotary year.
