The Holiday Season is upon us! Every year, I am caught off guard when Thanksgiving comes around and I think… How did another year go by so fast?! This year, for the first time in a while, I know exactly how that happened. TIME FLIES WHEN YOU ARE HAVING FUN!!

Taking Nominations for Rotary District Governor 2026-27

We are seeking nominations for our District Governor for the Rotary year 2026-27!!

What do you do with a chance? You take it. It may just lead to something incredible!

The pre-qualifications for DG are that you are a current member of the district in good standing, a past club president, and have been in Rotary for 7 years. Applications are to be submitted by the Rotarian's Club. No self-nominations are accepted.

Set your 2024-25 Club President up for success - elect them early - make sure they are able to attend President-elect training.

District Grants 2023-24 Project Reports Due 12-31-23

District Grant Project Progress Reports for all 2023-24 District Grant Projects are due by 12-31. The purpose of that report is to check progress, find out if your project is "on track" and discuss any issues you have encountered that may be blocking progress.

Every Active Rotarian Has A Voice - Upcoming Council

Is there something you think should change in the constitutional documents of Rotary or that you think the Rotary International board should consider? Every Rotarian can provide input to Rotary International through the Council Cycle.

Rotary's Insurance Program

The US Rotary Club & District Liability Insurance Program provides US Rotary clubs and districts and Rotaract clubs with commercial general liability insurance and directors & officers/employment practices liability insurance, subject to policy terms and conditions.

IRS Annual Filing Requirement

Rotary Clubs are reminded of the IRS' annual filing requirement. Club officers may receive an email from Rotary International with additional information. Previously we received these documents - Letter from Rotary, IRS Guidelines.

Rotary Direct - the easiest way to donate to The Rotary Foundation

Use Rotary Direct for your donations to The rotary Foundation - for Polio or SHARE (the annual giving). This is less paperwork for your club treasurers AND people can pay with credit card without your club having to bear that expense.

What is your legacy?

Have you ever thought about your legacy? A loving/supportive parent, one who built up your community/place of worship with your time/talents … a member of the larger world community interacting with people on the far corners the globe. (Be sure to read more to learn of a special incentive.)

Dues Analysis - Rotary Required and Club Optional Items

As clubs review dues for members, include the Rotary required items plus the Club costs supported with member assessment.

Rotary Membership Updates - Prepare for Upcoming Billing

Our next membership billing from Rotary.org will be in January, 2024. Using RI Integration, clubs in Rotary District 5650 manage member information locally (not at Rotary.org) and changes will "roll up" to Rotary International.
