We are saddened by the news of the passing of Past District 5650 Governor Walt Horner.

During the Annual Meeting, members voted to accept Kathryn Schubert of Omaha Suburban Rotary as the District Governor-nominee Designate. She will serve as District Governor 2023-24.

Nominated by their clubs, and elected by the membership at the District Annual Meeting, these Rotary members will represent the clubs at Rotary District 5650 Board Meetings.

The U.S. Rotary Club and District Liability Insurance Program (“Program”) provides all U.S. Rotary clubs, districts, and Rotaract clubs with General Liability (GL) and Directors and Officers/Employment Practices Liability (D&O/EPL) insurance.

Clubs often ask if there are guidelines for honorary membership in a Rotary Club. From the Manual on Procedures: "Persons who have distinguished themselves by meritorious service in the furtherance of Rotary ideals and those considered friends of Rotary for their support of Rotary’s cause may be elected to honorary membership in more than one club."
