Holiday greetings to you all! I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and had time to spend with friends and family. As we enter the holiday season, I know many Rotarians and their clubs will be participating in service projects to help those less fortunate in our communities. Thank you all so much for your heart of service. We truly are "People of Action".
Calling all District 5650 Rotarians, spouses and families. Please join me next June 21-25,2025 at Stampede Park, in Calgary, Canada located in the Canadian Rockies for Rotary's 116th convention. The final deep discount deadline is December 15, 2024.
Our next membership billing from Rotary.org for Rotary Clubs will be in January, 2025. Using RI Integration, Rotary Clubs in Rotary District 5650 manage member information locally (not at Rotary.org) and changes will "roll up" to Rotary International.
District Grant Project Progress Reports for all 2024-25 District Grant Projects are due by 12-31. The purpose of that report is to check progress, find out if your project is "on track" and discuss any issues you have encountered that may be blocking progress.
Of course, the answer is Robert Rapp, and then Gretchen Bren, but who will it be after that? Will it be you??? Nominations are now being accepted for District Governor 2027-2028 and all Past Club Presidents are invited to apply!
In December the district youth exchange committee will be interviewing prospective candidates from local schools who are interested in becoming Rotary Youth Exchange students next year.
Members of our Rotary community help make clubs stronger, communities better, and peace possible. Thank them for their dedication and valuable contributions by recognizing them with the Excellence in Service to Humanity Award.
